I learnt my lesson the hard way..
..what can I say?
?? Woe betide me…

Kathleen Edwards- Asking For Flowers
A favourite of mine. Sssshhh, listen and appreciate.
Sissy is the sister project of Shannyn Sossamon and Jenny Lee Lindberg w/Jennifer Furches
Perfect song in many ways, but for post-work blues and a cold that won’t leave my bones alone, this song is my paracetamol and my hot water bottle.
xx
Genius. Every inch of it. Genius.
Twas the first record I ever purchased… it being as magnificent today as it was back when I was a young Lad!
I lived in Germany, and we’d drive from Dusseldorf to Norfolk via ferries, it took many hours and amongst some Beatles, some Beach Boys, Monkeys and a 60s compilation or two, this album was played a lot at night, as the stars shone, or wind howl, rain battered, or snow covered our car, Mum and Dad in the front, whilst me and my sister in the back, me in heaven, in awe of such a piece of music, my sister, terrified!
Oh to go back to one of those trips…
Just found a bunch of The Smiths demos! My evening is now sorted!!!!
Song of the Day: “Generator (1st Floor) - Freelance Whales
This is one of the greatest songs to wake up to. Don’t dispute it.
“We get up early just to start cranking the generator.
Our limbs have been asleep, we need to get the blood back in ‘em…”
As the Lady above says exactly!
